for Parents and the Schools that Support Them

You want to get clear on what is getting in the way of leading and learning through your school’s mission and values.

You wear many hats and they are starting to feel too heavy to carry alone— you are looking for inspiration, meaningful collaboration, and insights to guide your next steps.

You feel like you’ve tried everything, but nothing you are doing is quite working.

You and your child are stuck in a loop of reactions, behaviors,  and frustration, and you are feeling overwhelmed. Parent coaching with me is a place to exhale, be real, and get grounded practical help. Develop your RESPONSE-ABILITY!

My Approach

Six women and two men in a meeting room, some seated at a table and others standing, engaging in conversation.

With me as your coach, you will feel seen, heard, held, and guided. You are ready to be challenged and supported and emerge with clear strategies and tools to parent from your goals and values - instead of fear and fantasy.

Our work together is grounded in a deep understanding of child development, relational neuroscience, and respectful practice.

My Why

I’ve spent my life in the company of young children—as a mother, grandmother, teacher, professor of education, school leader, and coach. Long before my professional life I wondered about the rights of children and the responsibilities of the adults in the presence of children.

I’ve seen up close how often we miss children’s cues, ways of being, and needs in service of antiquated or trendy systems, instead of reshaping the systems to fit the child, our values and our goals.

My work is about flipping that script.
